Questions for the Project Leader
Adam Estelle was the CDA project leaders for the Puro Chile Retail Store installation after hearing about the installation from Colonial Bronze.
Q - Chile is known worldwide for its copper production. How exciting is it for you to have a Chilean based company showcase antimicrobial copper products in New York, the city you live in?
A - Copper is a big part of Chilean culture, and it's nice to see that showcased right here in NYC. Most copper products are behind the walls like wiring and plumbing. Antimicrobial copper surfaces are out in the open. Having these surfaces front and center at Puro Chile really helps you connect with copper's health benefits, and also where it comes from.
Q - Taking this outside of healthcare, what benefits do you think retail shoppers have in interacting with antimicrobial copper touch surfaces?
A - I think most people are pretty aware of germs in public spaces these days and do what they can to avoid touching things. Hopefully this will provide some peace of mind to retail shoppers and help them appreciate that copper surfaces are safe to touch.
Q - Have you been fortunate enough to go to the Puro Chile retail store in NYC and see the installation?
A - Yes, the door handles for the main entrance are gorgeous. The atmosphere and imported products offer a unique experience.
